Today .. cuaca a bit cool here. Luckily I am fasting .. rejab.
2) I saw the stats .. malaysian students from India have just started reading this blog.
Welcome .. boy and girls ( most probably Malaysian students in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi).
Never mind .. you are late ..but better late than never. This blog was on since 2010 after my Ph.D journey. It was a long journey but with the ikhsan and hidayah of Allah ..i made it eventually.
I want to express my gratefulness to those students from UK, Russia, USA, Germany, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, S Korea, Romania, United emirates, Qatar, Jordan, Yemen, and many other places who have supported this small effort directly or indirectly in putting few sentences daily . I hope you can benefit some of those writing that was done almost anytime and anywhere. Tq once again. Last year I got some visits from Israel.
3) For recap .. i wrote few things like
3.1 master and phd tips
3.2 dont be afraid taking phd my son
3.3 an example of a chapter 6 concluding chapter Ph.D
3.4 health and well being
3.5 religious issues - 6 points in Tabligh jamaah and
many more . Alhamdulilah
I write for sharing my experience here and there. If you like them, tell the others else ..
don't worry . I am ok, honestly. Moreover, it is free.
My malay friends said '..if it is free .. no body cares .. lah
but I replied
that is ok for me .. because writing is just an ibadat (good amal). People read or no read it is just my simple ibadat. Hopefully Allah accepts my intention.
Somebody .. selling .. their products ; some designing cards , birthday souvenirs and many more. I think they must be rich by now. He he he
but here , I pen down things for every body under the sun.
FOC!
(laugh).
4) If we go to any public toilets in Malaysia, they charge you 30 sen. In spite of that, sometimes there is not enough light, shortage of water and many more complaints. Some got to wade in the water .. (laugh)
But here in this blog .. it is just free insya allah. Help yourself please. Don't worry ..if I can stay healthy daily ..that is all I need from the al Mighty Allah.
Health is gold. Better health is heavier gold and diamonds .. but in the eyes of Allah
taufiq and hidayah is the most sacred thing .. if HE gives me that .. I think that suffice for now, tomorrow and life after this.
Pray for me too please so that .. i die in iman and Allah is pleased with all of us - readers and this humble writer.
Tq.

Human sleeps at night and of course
he wakes up in the day.
Using that simple routine, he attains his health and strength.
But now many students do not sleep that early any more.
They spend their nights in completing assignments in groups or individually.
When sleeping late has become a habit this creates many problem especially their health and well being.
In the morning they rush to the classes.
Sometimes they make it and sometimes they don't.
Small accidents happen if we are sleeping behind the wheels.
More over it is very dangerous to rush.
Our heart would suffer a lot when we lack sleep and always on the rush in the early part of the day.
Stress is associated with so many jobs within a short time that needs our immediate attention.
Insomnia is about sleeping disorder. Hyper-somnia is sleeping a lot. Both are dangerous. Better to be sleeping moderately example 6 to 7 hours would be sufficient.
We die earlier if we do not take care of our heart.
In the human body., the heart is the most important organ.
so please take care.
As a teacher i try to sleep early. In the day i spend my time doing my reading and teaching.
I hardly take sick leave in my 26 to 56 age working period.
So I advise everybody to sleep earlier in the night. Please. You live longer. Believe me?
2) Taking coffee is another kind of problem. I was advised not to drink too much coffee. It contains caffeine. A form of drug. With caffeine in our blood system, it is difficult to let nutrients into our bodies. Medicine cannot be absorbed effectively when we have so much caffeine in our blood. But taking coffee, nescafe has become so popular among the students. They drink coffee to stay up all the nights. So these lead to many health issues when they start working or families. So be careful.
Another serious issue is some of my students are taking coffee that is meant for 60, 70,80, 90 old man who wants to maintain good health ever after. Now my readers can see ..if things got so extended for 25 year old student ..where to bring huh?
From my books, it is dangerous to do so .. because some tongkat ali do not dissolve very well in our blood stream + kidneys. In USM Kubang Kerian, there are many proofs .. dead men because of 'burnt out' kidneys. Sorry guys .. just to pass the news. So avoid coffee please. Take Milo , teh o , horlicks .. hot lemon juice + a drop of pure honey.
Sleep early. Waking up early is always the best in the long run. Prevention is better than cure.
I heard to undergo heart operation this would cost more than your Myvi or a new link house. So think about it young man.
tq.
wallahu aklam. Allah knows better than us.

If i have a foreign friend where should i bring him within 24 hours once he arrived Kota Bharu.
The answers are
1. Market Siti Khadijah. Here most workers are women. They sell many things examples vegetables, fish, meat, rice, dodol, serunding sambal daging, beras pulut, batik clothes and gold.
Kelantanese gold is considered one of the best in the world. Because of that we can identify any lady belonging to here because they put a lot of gold on their necks, arms and many more. They used this for trading too between the daily produce within their business circles.
2. Muzuem Istana Jahar is about 1 km from the above market. Here you can see many historical events like the royal families, weddings and their special clothings and traditional games like congkat and 'tops'. You can see a traditional trishaw called beca too.
3. The beach P.C.B. along the way from the town to the seaside we can stop at many Batik houses, boutiques, songket and handcrafts. Bring some money. Quite expensive now. Say RM100 for good batik and RM1000 plus for reasonable Songket. Here you can eat keropok batang RM1 a piece. If tiny type may be 30 sen each. Then we top up with cocunut drink. RM5 per cocunut.
4. Restaurant The White Table ( after 6pm better)
5. The big mosque ..Sultan Muhammad next to the muzuem.
6. Pink Stadium where the state football team played their games. Usually they win but sometimes they lost too. Dont worry. It is part of the game called football. The stadium is within walking distance from the city centre.
---
I think that is all if 24 hours.
if more than a day we can go many places like waterfall Jeram Pasu in Pasir Puteh, Batu Melintang and many more.
If he were a muslim I bring him to Pulau Melaka about 20km from the city centre.
Here we can visit ex Menteri Besar Chief minister Tuan Guru Nik Aziz home made of all wood.
Next i bring him to Mazkaz Dakwah Tabligh in Cherang, K.Bharu.
after some drinks, i talk him myself about 6 important qualities of the companions of the beloved prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h.
if he looks sick, i can bring him to Kubang Kerian USM Hospital. It is a very modern hospital. It has many facilities including modern faculties for young doctors, dentists, nurses and according to record ..they marry among themselves too. They smell medicine, i heard? Do you like that?
If you want to pay for a tour guide may be RM100 within the first 3 hours. Then RM25 per additional hour.
In Kota Bharu we have a modern airport. 36 flights per day, WE have MAS, AirAsia, FireFly plying their routes. If you have Credit cards you can fly home KLumpur, London, Sydney and many more any time. Other than that, you can take buses to all destinations throughout the country. At night, many express busses left Kota Bharu to Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bharu, Penang and Kuala Kedah ( Langkawi Island).
Kota Bharu is also 2 hours from Pulau Perhentian jetty in Kuala Besut by taxi.
There you can go diving, snorkelling and water filming.
Ooops..Beware of drugs. If you are caught with marijuana they hang you. ASAP.
We have also many modern supermarkets like Aeon. TESCO near the Sultan Yahya Petra bridge. If it rains so badly, may be you can go shopping using smaller boats , rakit and ..enjoy yourselves in the flood of course. He he he.
SOuvenir?
You can buy household utensils like the biggest wok, saucepan, spoon, parang, gold, batik, songket, sambal daging, kelantan sweet delicacies, makjun, minyak urut Wan Muda, Mestika oil, ikan bilis halus, budu, belachan ( malaysian cadbury) and wooden senduk to use during dodol and suro makings. If you like qu puteh ..i think the best factory must be the pink stadium. You can't miss it.
The best time to visit here is March to September. We got monsoon rain from November to February.
tq.
