Hi.
Let us continue with our lessons , shall we?
Today I am going through with you some good dialogues if we go to watch football games in a nearby stadium called OLD TRAFFORD, Manchester, England.
Ali: who is playing today Abu?
Abu: (laugh) not who .. you must use WHICH TEAMS are playing today?
Manchester City versus Manchester UNited
Ali: Oh I see. Must be a great game! what say you, Abu?
Abu: yes ..sure it must be a very good game. But I heard ROONEY is not playing again.
Ali: What Rooney missing?
Abu: Yes .. he has collected too many red cards so far. Not my hero though.
Ali : Oh my god. I think Man CIty will win this match.
Abu: Oh piss off .. Man United has so many great players you know? Ryann Giggs can win single handedly.
Ali: Phrggggg .. what a bore! Giggs the rodent ... you mean?
(laugh, laugh) -----------------------------------
See there are some words being used just now.
They are firstly "MUST"; and secondly "WILL"
-------------------------------------------------------
Those are very strong words. MUST = WILL
Must be a great game! - maknanya - mestilah perlawanan bolasepak ini sangat menarik. Dua gergasi kelab bolasepak inggeris bertembung lagi - satu jenis paksaan supaya pembaca mesti ikuti bahawa Man United tersangatlah hebat pasukannya.
Man City will win this time ? maknanya - bila bintang bolasepak Man United Rooney tercedera/ buang padang/ digantung perlawanan .. maka dengan sendirinya ..pasukannya akan menjadi lemah dan teramatlah lemah .. pasti kalah Man United ini ..dibelasah oleh Man City.
---------------------------------
WE can use these two words if we are 200% sure that one team is far superior than the other team.
If we are not so sure ..it is better to use the words ' I think .. Man United will lose this time ..
Yes. Use instead 'I think' ... (an opinion given here )
or you can use politely ' Man City might win .. '
this is much polite. 'might win' = besar kemungkinan akan menang besar tetapi tidak semestinya .. kerana bola itu bulat tau?
So with that .. I pen off now.
Try and practice those 4 key words. Must/ will win // my opinion is /// might win.
See you in the next lesson.
