Here we come again. Topic Sentence.

Every paragraph must have a TOPIC SENTENCE.

Examples:

1) Mathematics is percieved as a difficult subject not only among the malays but also English children in many parts of United Kingdom. According to TIMMS report , malaysia has fallen from the 9th position to 26 th position from year 1999 to 2007.

Let me explain here. THe first sentence Mathematics is percieved as a difficult subject ... THIS IS TOPIC SENTENCE. It breaks the main news in the first paragraph. Next come the

second sentence that tries to elaborate why was the mathematics so difficult. It comes with TIMMS Report ( a survey conducted among 45 participating countries on mathematics education).

2) Human likes to live in pairs. By pairing, they will find more love and more meaning towards their occupation.

See? The first sentence is the TOPIC SENTENCE. It breaks the news to the world that men lives in pairs.

Then the next sentence is an elaboration .. by pairing.. they find more love / more meaning towards their occupation.

Conclusion: You must try to begin each paragraph in your essay with a topic sentence. Then and only then .. people becomes more excited to read your ideas.
