Today I got a chance to get hold of a book called 'the man who designed the future'. by Ambi Mathe. the book about lim kok wing.
I glance/ flip through very fast the pages up and down .. the book. It got a forwarding message from our beloved ex-PM Tun Mahathir Mohammad, june 6 , 2000.
Inside few more early pages - it lists down - the future exist/ the future is about people/ the future is created in the present/ the future is determined by action/ architects of the future.
But I like to read this paragraph ..about our mind. Yes the mind between our ears.
Our mind can go forward .. can go backward. It can swim many years ..down the road. If we are 50 years old .. our mind can swim back at least 45 years .. downwards... remembering our old teachers, our old friends, some are already dead because of illnesses, accidents, .., our sweet sweet memory plus .. our sweet sweet hearts. puppy love they call it? All there in our mind. we saw Mokhtar Dahari, Soh Chun Aun , football greats in Germany , .., BTW, .. who created this thing called - wonderful mind?
Yes you are dead right .. Allah Sub hanawa Taala. He gives us good mind, some HE gives better mind than others .. who dare to speak in front of the western leaders .. malaysian got guts man .. we built Proton .. when Honda and Toyota are doing well in USA and Europe. Only brave people are willing to do ..extra hurdle with extra results. Some Allah has given .. stronger mind .. they become Nobel Prize winner(s).
Me? I am me .. Allah created my parents ..who then teach me .. many things about this world .. we must stay humble .. then we can learn many things from the others .. our past colonial masters .. our enemies ..the japanese .. they killed many melayu from kelantan, chinese, ..when they were in power in Malaya .. their soldiers tortured many malay women .. they jumped on the stomach of 9 month old mother-to-be .. see? how cruel they were ... their soldiers raped and tortured many chinese women ...surprisingly ..now we are business friends .. chinese, Proton n the japanese. Did they teach us many things mates?

you know the answer. I know few answers .. one of them ..is ..my friends went to Japan to do phD .. only 1 scored the scroll .. thanks god .. u r benevolent and merciful ya ROBBB .. we keep on learning from our enemies .. one day our enemies / many other days .. good business friends..
but lastly .. i think lim kok wing is very special .. because he has the word 'WING' in his name from day 1 after his birth. With that wing he has flown to many countries including africa. then from his wing ..we can see many africans taking all sorts of degreees etc etc .. thank you .. they are coming in waves to malaysia.
We also got many problems. immigration. illegal immigrants? Our jail are pushed to the limit. In Sabah, yesterday, 80 - 90% of the residents in the jails .. are immigrants .. indonesians, filipinos, .., they robbed, killed , import export dadah , they built dadah laboratories, and out of that .. they created drug mules out of the melayu ladies. In the jails, they got free food. I work 24 hours a day ..to provide food on the dining table for my family every day. In the morning i got caught in the traffic jam. after so many hours, i paid toll. pay this pay that. toll? after all those killing jams. then i get paid. buy food for my family. but the jailed immigrants .. what did they do ..to deserve free food ..hah? in our backyard. sleep, rest, urinate, free food, fightings... yes.. the wings (aeroplanes ) brought them here. tq AirAsia. Everybody can fly into Malaysia nowadays. Great stuff isn't it? drugs also ..great stuff alsoooo from Iran , u say?
See? the influence of wing.

Esok prof pelawat kita dari Swansea akan pulang ke UK.
Jika kita imbas balik ..program tersebut, rasa rasa .. kita tak optimize waktu kunjungan mereka ke sini. Jika tak silap mahal jugak kos membawa mereka kesini.
Mengapa tak kita..
(i) aturkan program biar .. start jam 0800 pagi dan ending jam 0500 ptg.
(ii) so far .. if my maths is correct .. daily they come 4 - 5 hours only
Oleh yang demikian mereka memberi buah fikiran mereka sebanyak 5 jam * 5 hari = 25 jam
yes 25 jam dalam 1 minggu.
Untuk makluman kita dapat kunjungan 2 orang profesor tau?
Rasa-rasa .. muhasabah diri masing-masing .. adakah kita ambil sepenuh manafaat dari kunjungan tersebut?
Jika YES ..bagus ..anda terbaik
if NO .. siapa salah ni?
(iii) selalunya ..jika orang jauh datang .. semua program lain diklasifikasikan sebagai sekunder sahaja. Keutamaan hendaklah .. ambik sepenuh manafaat dari kunjungan tersebut. Lagipun .. staf staf dari fakulti lain .. nampaknya tak berminat nak berkongsi ilmu dan pengalaman .. why did I say that? From my eyes , tak nampak pun .. orang lain datang dan mendengar .. ceramah ceramah dari mereka. Saya rasa orang PTM jika ada ..lagilah bagus punya. he..he..
(iv) Semalam hanya 4 orang staf fakulti dapat meluangkan masa ..makan malam dan berbincang sedikit sebanyak dgn .. rancangan fakulti dgn universiti universiti mereka. Kita orang makan best dgn mat dan minah salleh ini . Saya bayar sendiri RM30 sepinggan ..yg lain orang lain bayar untuk apa yg mereka makan. Hushhh.. kalau aku jadi big ayah .. sudah tentu aku pakai duit aku seorang jer... why pulak kau makan kau bayar ini? Dulu aku dapat jemputan jadi International Reviewer ..journal universti Syaiah Kuala Acheh Indonesia. Dia orang kata ..semua kos makan minum .. pihak universiti yang bayar. Settle? Kau tahu Acheh tak? yes ..negara yg kena gelombang terbesar tsunami . habis harta mereka dikaut ombak ..itu pun ..settle duit makan minum. See the difference?
Mengapa hah .. where are the big guns majlis tak formal makan malam tadi? Mano gi barisan-barisan KJ kita yang bijak bestari?
Orang macam saya .. my gun so sm.ll jer .. payah nak cakap lah (laugh). Nanti silap cakap ..padah menanti.
(v) Lain kali .. kita kena beri layanan yg tersangat sempurna ..dan terbaik punya. Barulah berbaloi duit rakyat menanggung semua kos (tiket kapal terbang/ hotel bukan Impiana Inn norrrrr ? tersebut. Ha ..ha..
Dalam kitab al mukminun ..ada satu bab ..satu ayat .. jika kau hendak umur yang panjang/ rezeki kau dan anak-anak cucu kau murah, sangat sangat murah .. layanlah tetamu mu terbaik ma.

p/s: kadang kadang orang luar ingat kita .. bukan kerana kita pandai pun ..bukan kerana bangunan kita besar pun.. hanya the extra small small things like .. go shopping pasu bunga kat Air HItam, pengalaman kait buah sawit ramai-ramai.. scuba diving .. sikit sikit ker.. u know? mereka akan ingat kat kita dan universiti kita .. for ever and ever. salute to rudy n hubby. hebakkk mu ni.

Entah bagaimana pagi ini saya berkesempatan minum dgn se orang kontraktor wanita. Projek dia pembersihan blok depan universti ini.
Sembang punya sembang dia adalah:
1) pemegang ijazah sarjana UUM
2) sekarang kontraktor
3)umur 33 +
4) ada 80 orang pekerja

Dia kata ..dia kena cari duit RM100,000 sebulan untuk bayar gaji pekerja-pekerjanya. jika tidak susah dia.
Dia ada matlamat. Sebelum berumur 35 tahun ..dia mesti ada merz. now dia dah lama ada merx.
wow ..hebat dia ini.
Akhir sekali dia kata .."kita jika lurus sangat macam kayu ..kita akan patah ..jika berhadapan dgn masalah perniagaan zaman moden ini ..bagus kita lurus macam tali ... boleh ikut .. stail .. anak sungai ..jika batang sungai belok, kita belok lah ..jika batang sungai itu straight ..kita straight jer lah ..sebab kita tali bukan.."
Now after the conversation .. I reflect on the lives of the companions of Rasululllah s.a.w
there was a sahaba .. he was trusted to take care of a bunch of keys belonging to a millionaire of that time.
even after 3 days ..3 nights . he still stood rooted to a place ..waiting for the masters to come ..to collect the keys.
Based on this value .. the whole world .. was conquered by the sahabah ra. anhum ajmain..like Abdul Rahman al azsss. Abdul Aziz r.a. they were very very rich.
that sahabah - he didn't leave the place ..even though it was already past 2 days and 2 nights. He waited patiently for the masters of the keys .. if i were to follow that rich contractor .. 's advise ..we cannot act stupidly like a stick .. how come we are still lagging behind the non-malays in the world of malaysian business? further 's more .we got many contracts .. may be ..because we r inclined / acquainted to the main ruling party UMNO ... else if we were born as a non-malay we r just nobody ..right?
Just wondering.
Is it because of high education we must act like a rope ..and not a stick (honesty) anymore?
Well u got the answer ..right?
