Today too much news about that mad student exposing his bum/ anus to the potrait of the most respected Premier of Malaysia. To make things worse, he was expelled from his college. Ughh what a horrible step he made out of himself. Sometimes, 1 minute stupidity drives us to 10000 days of agony!
I didn't follow too much TV3 news. I prefer to cook something for my 2 girls and myself.
The menu is cooking chicken curry. Expected time to complete: 45 minutes only. Budget RM25 for three of us. Their mum is on holiday. Kenduri time in her village. Relax. Don;t worry. The daddy takes over as the main chef.
The steps are as follows:
(i) cut the onions and garlic. Make sure the onions are 2 - 3 times more than the garlic.
(ii) take out the cooking pot and put it on the flame. Put some cooking oil and put a middle flame on.
(iii) once you see that the pot has made some 'smell'', put on the onions and stir them. It will take you less than 7 minutes before you will notice that the onions and the garlic will produce some smell.
(iv) once you see that the onions are getting brownish .. and browner and browner .. put some liquid that consists of the ADABI Curry plus temarind (air asam jawa) meant for the chicken tonight. All the liqid goes into the hot pot. pour the liquid slowly. Don't rush.
(v) stir the onions plus the curry liquid slowly. Give it 5 - 8 minutes when you will smell another kind of good strong curry 'smoke' emerging from the cooking pot. If that happens ..
(vi) put the chicken. Don't put the whole chicken please. Give 3 - 4 pieces of the chicken slowly into the pot. Put some water so that the chicken will stay submerge under the water. Put middle flame. If the chicken is not too much , be sure , insyaallah it will take at most 15 - 20 minutes to get itself cooked. Rememer to put on the lid of the cooking pot carefully so that the steam accumulated inside the pot will not disappear into your chicken .
(vii) while cooking, busy yourself with zikir. Say Subhanallah, alhamdulilah and Allah huakbar. Talk to your girls to prepare the dining table. Put up the 3 plates. You can also talk softly to your girls the importance of being a great cook.
like your mum. He..he.. this is called motivation. While the chicken is geting cook, ask your eldest girl to prepare some sambal belachan. this is a paste that create more 'nafsu' to eat the main food very well. The sambal belachan can consist of ikan bilis plus chillies plus sugar plus lemon juice. Ask your girl to pound the ikan bilis well. This is indoor exercise that builds some muscle. Relax!
(viii) soon, the lid of the cooking pot will dance slowly up and down .. on the fire. This indicates that the chicken is about to cook.
(ix) the next step is put some santan (cocunut milk) into the cooking pot. You can also put some potatoes and tomatoes into the pot as well. Put some salt. if there are 3 - 4 pieces of chicken , just add 1 sponful of salt. Put some water if you like.
(x) now wait a further 10 minutes. Say 'allahum ma soli ala sayidinna muhammad , wa ala alihi syadina muhammad' a few times. By doing zikir, you get many things other than the chicken. You get the blessings of the AlMighty God.
(xii) soon the cooked curry is well ready. You can smell its nice curry plus all those fully cooked potatoes + tomatoes.

Now put the chicken into a PYREX container. make sure you are using the best plates as possible. Don't wait for other occasions because we do not know what will happen to us tomorrow. The mother likes to keep all the best plates for bigger occacison. But during her absence, I will use all the
best plates tonight!
You feel diffeently if you cook simple chicken and serve it on a nice PYREX plates. He..he..
You can ask your girls to cut small pieces of cucumber, lemons and salad. Decorate the chicken with anything you want. Get the 'Flowers' you like ..make sure the chicken look so nice with the flowers at the edge of the plate . He..he..

Now serve the rice and the chicken curry. I prepare 3-4 pieces of chicken so that we can share with our children. Small proportion each. If we prepare a big chicken, may be we cannot finish it in one sitting.
Read a short muslim prayer like ' Allah hum barik lana ..fi ma razak tana wa qinna aza bannnarrr'. Ameen. and we can start taking our dinner.
So at 45th minute we can take our dinner together as a happy family.
No need mamak food at the nearest restaurat from our house. The cook is always ready.
He.he.. by staying indoor we can safe our eyes from seeing sexy girls serving their food for us. More over, I am sure my cooking is a bit better than theirs. Why? because we have to wait .. and sometimes we also get angry if we ordered so many things and after 30 minute wait ..one of those sexy girls will come to our table and say '...sorry Sir. all the chicken we have is already finished. Do you mind if we prepare fried eggss only Sir?" see............... anything can happen
Wallahu aklam. p/s: good family skills begin at the dining table. Which better place to teach our girls than our own closed dining hall? right!

Today is Wednesday 4th Sept 2012. The weather is good except the cloud looks very moody and the wind beats my face as I walk to my RM90K machine (car).
Thanks be to Allah who has woken me up for another day. Alhamdulilah! (sign of being grateful to the AlMighty GOD)
2) As usual , I as a teacher/ lecturer , will report for duty before the clock strikes 0800 hours. My aim today is to attend a computer course called 'AUTHOR'. Yes it is basically a one whole day course. Jolly Good! So I don't have to attend any thing from my faculty/ UTHM.
3) If I drive my car , the first thing I do is to recite 'Bismillah and a short prayer Tawakal tu ala llah ' and ' Hasbiyallah .. hi tawakal tu alla llah' putting my whole life and affairs to the hands of Allah. Yes as we drive our new car, of course you can either listen to morning talk by many DJs on the radio or you can just read small surahs which I called the last 10 surah. Usually I do the latter. Insyallah and alhamdulilah knowing that .. a letter of the Quraan if recited is given 10 hasanah. So if I were to read 30 ayats , may be may be, I can get 20000 hasanah. Yes every morning. What is hasanah? It is the currency that muslims will use once his/eyes are totally shut once s/he is dead. We can not use Ringgit Maalysia anymore what more Indon's RUPEES.
4) Other aims are:
we hope the knwoledge we got, we can deliver them well for the benefit of the other people and we make a strong niat (intention) we wil do our best in teaching, reading, talking, thinking, problem solving, helping others and smiling to the other people around us. We should try to smile a lot because we have a 100 factor size smaller problem than the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Our problem is much smaller in size as compared to KETUA POLIS NEGARA Datuk Ismail dealing with high index crime statististics daily , weekly and monthly. Right?
He..he.. we must also laugh ..sometimes/ a lot ..well why should we not laugh .. for we are just like everybody else .. we must be happy because we got jobs, wives, children, houses, cars, books, A4 papers, computers, .., ipAD, iPOD, iPAID .. maxis broadband .. you name it except of course we don't have palaces like Prince Philips, Prince Charles of England. And it is correct , our wives are not as beautiful as the film stars from USA, Britain, China, Hong Kong ... but just stop and ask .. SO WHAT?
Alhamdulilah ..with what we have all these times. If you have the above, according to the kitab of Al-Mukminin .. we can be considered the richest man on earth. I slept well last night .. grateful to Allah .. because I am sure somebody out there are not enjoying their sleep like mine. Examples of those who did'nt sleep very well are those: worrying why their wives left their homes , fearing they lost track of their daughters where they were last night, anxious with those temporary workers who can go to jobs that do not exist anymore today, while the prime minister of this country is thinking hard will BN be in complete control again after PRU13 in malaysia, how to gain the favours of the demanding chinese and indians while the malays are already divided into three big camps called PAS, PKR and UMNO. Somebody is also worrying whether money can win the hearts of the prospective "pengundi" in this country. Will Felda people be fully supporting us ..after getting so much RM along this 2 years before PRU13? Oshhh so much to worry!
How about us? No need to worry about that. We just have simple students who read less, think less, eat less, but they have upper hands in IT skills exploring all that are available in the internet nightly. Some of them lack sleep , and they are taking their motorbiles with their eyes 75% shut. Why? they lack sleep for they did a lot of research on the internet.
I think thats all for now. I got to attend the AUTHOR computer course today. Remember? But be careful ok?

2) Memang sedap kita beri nasihat itu dan ini kepada orang-orang bawahan kita tetapi ..
nasihat kita adalah lebih mujarab jika kita berada dalam situasi status - ekonomi - kemasyarakatan yg sama.
Contoh ..anak anak orang kaya memberi nasihat kpd orang orang yg susah .. pasal rahsia menambah rezeki itu dan ini/
jawapan nya.. mu sedap lah.. start celek mata mu pun ...semua benda ..dah disediakan oleh tok nenek mu yang sudah kaya raya
Contoh kedua: sepasang suami isteri berjawatan profesor di APEX Universiti .. memberi rahsia ..menambah rezeki itu dan ini ..
jawapannya ..mu kalian sdaplah.. mana mu raso pahit maung hidup jadi kuli KTM Tanah Melayu .. semua gaji elaun kami murah jer ..lagipun ..aku seorang jer ygmemabnting tulang 4 kerat ini ..pagi dan petang .. semata-mata mencari nafkah sesuap nasi ..untuk anak anak bini.
Tak logik lah ..nasihat/ rahsia tambah rezeki mu itu PROFESSORS. mu ..kedua-dua mu .. goyang kaki jer .. dapat duit itu dan ini/
Contoh ketiga: seorang ustaz memberi ceramah pasal adab ambik air sembahyang ... kpd ramai peserta kursus itu dan ini.
Jawapannya ialah :.. nasihat/ rahsia itu yg ustaz cakapkan ..itu.... payah nak kami amalkan ..kerana .. ustaz sejak dulu lagi mari mari beri ceramah ..itu dan ini semua nya berbayar ..ikut jam/ hari/ minggu .. semua air sembahyang ustaz dan ustazah ..org lain tolong sediakan .. RELAX kau ustaz n ustazah. pantun ustaz dan ustazah pun ada company akan bayarkan. Right?
kami yg susah ini ..keno cari air sembahyang sendiri. TEngok keadaan tandas di masjid, surau seluruh tanah air kita .. mana ada yg nampak bersih .. kalau paip ada // kepala paip dah lama hilang// kalau sistem flush najis ada .. tali untuk tarik flush najis najis dalam bekas tandas semua dah hilang dan putus// kalau sistem tandas ada .. bekalan air tak ada pula.. semua najis dah mula kering dan berulat .. cukup kotor sekali .. sistem pentadbiran masjid dan surau nampakjer hebat dan gagah ..tetapi dinding pintu tandas dibuat dari papan yg paling nipis sekali dalam dunia// walaupun masjid ada karpet dari IRAN, IRAQ dan TURKEY ..tengoklah sistem tandas di masjid masjid kita ..semua dibina dgn kos paling rendah sekali/ apa punya formula buat masjid dan surau ini .. ?
Sebab itulah ..if nak beri nasihat itu dan ini .. jom kita tengok .. adakah kita bermula dari keadaan yg sama setara.
Contoh 4: ada orang politik memberi nasihat kpd rakan rakan mahasiswa siswi baru .. ..how to start bisnes yg hebat hebat?
Jawapan: semua bohong belaka. Why? orangpoltik itu bercakap ..tak sedar diri. Dia nasihat sedaplah .. kerana duit dia ada wang ringgit;dompet dia ada CARD CREDITS, gemuloh ayah dio tinggalkan beribu ribu hektar kebun sawit jauh mata memandang / panggil tok dengar jah// .. bolehlah beri idea untuk buat bisnes buat screw helikopter TUDM Malaysia lah/ buat speed boat untuk TLDM di Lumutlah ..
kami ? belum ada apa apaa lagi. Mana nak cari modal buat mesin mengeuarkan screws iyu dan ini Dato' Seri .. MNTR ..ni? Betul orang tua kata . Jika dah kaya dan banyak wang ..kita boleh cakap itu dan ini. Semua orang kita paksa dengar .. ikut macam saya konon...
