Today my children came back from 3 places - Klang, Kuantan and Kluang. All these journey incurred some cost. Money, time and my sweat. I drove all the way to fetch them since they are my girls.
2) Mathematically speaking, our lives from morning to evening to night all incur some costs. What our Islam says : do things moderately. If you can spend RM50 per day, why should you waste RM100 to RM1000 per day. Thats ridiculous , right?
3) if we can sleep in a simple room with a fan, why should we turn on the air cond. try to live simply .. this is what our beloved prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) taught us all these while 1430 years ago.
but we broke this system. that is why ..in Kelantan, there are so many cases of divorce in spite of the malaysians calling it the 'corridor of Mecca'. You know why those cases happened in the surroundings where many people attending islamic teachings, talk about halal and haram and HUDUD.
(i) knowing something about Islam is not parallel (mathematics) to what we are doing because our lives is full of whims and desires .
the reasons may be as follows:
even though the husband attend Nik Aziz's teaching, he forgot his wife and children who are watching all kinds of reality shows at home. the husband is punctual with 5 times daily prayers in the nearby mosques but the family is too carried away with advertisements from the TV, internet etc etc. More over, the man is weak. Now many men are weak . Even though he boast to carry an elephant from 1 place to another, he become so timid in front of his wife. Why? I do not know that really. there must be some special weapon that the women possess. Did you ever hear , how the ladies scream .. at the husbands if they are late to ferry them to the emporium , shopping malls on the eve of Eid Mubarak, Eid Adha etc etc. Tragically, the shouting occur in front of the children 12 - 18 years old. Verily the man lost face and has gone weakling. If the man is strong, he can control his wife, her mouth and many other things closely associated to the lady that he called ' my bini'. ?He..he.. when a man is related one to one to a bini ..that is mathematics discrete. One to one. ? In fact Allah and our beloved prophet warned us to closely check our beloved families at home. Man cannot guide effectively their women because he himself are too 'lazy' to hear what is preached at the mosques. Without proper feedback from the ,mosque, the man lost many skills to advise his wife with wisdom and love. From hindustani and malay films,usually at the end of the month, the non working wives are so nice to their men. Why? The gaji can bring many things ..furniture, fashions, cakes and cookies during the festive seasons. so the man can at least control his power of money in his pocket but alas ... from history, and graphical trends (statistics and mathematics again) .. he falter yet again. Why? he has little knowledge to argue , defend and reason things nicely using economics , mathematics, statistics and spiritual wahyu. Alas you fooled again.. my boy!
your iman is weak, weaker and weakest.
What is iman? it is like a pile of coins. if your iman is 20 cents worth, you cannot buy anything nowadays ... but if your iman is 200,000,000 pieces of gold coins .. then you can do so many things. Iman inn Allah is the real thing!
(ii) Our lives is all about mathematics. Men know that .. his species are dying one after the other in many villages in Kelantan. They die so young because they were overworked by their families especially their marshal in chief @ BINI from day 1 until (50*365 days). Pity you my man. From a simple survey and SPSS Version 16.0 analysis using quantitative method of data collections and analysis .. we can see the trend ...many men left this earth so early .. because they were too tired to survive beyond pension time. The study of this trend is again mathematics where the average age man dies is 50 while the ladies 70. The standard deviation is 1 year 6 months only. The shorter the standard deviation from year 1970 to 2010 .. the trend is ... mathematically speaking .. the men left so early this earth by many kinds of modern diseases called kidney problem, cancer , sembelit, buasir, bengkak batu etc etc. In short ... you get my points my ladies? subhanallah.
Insurannce companiies are making in roads .. into muslim families in Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. Why?Simple my dear. They study demographic data including births and deaths among muslims. So if an insurance agent won .. where u are signing ..personal life plan .. mathematically , your money has gone out from your pocket into their accounts (insurance companies, Prudential, takaful etc etc).
(iii) Now i am using internet from my daughters' notebook. Even though it is her lap top .. all bills ..I got to foot sooner or later. That is again mathematics. If after this raya season, when she left the house ... suddenly during her journey .. she made an emergency call to her daddy ..then that is again mathematics. Because ... the father sometimes has to foot many things including the workshop, the coffee shop in the middle of the highway etc etc. You lost your sleep. Usually u can sleep 7 hours .. after that call ..suddenly .. you lost few hours of sleep. the next day you become so tired. Why? mathematically, you lost money, time and energy when at the same you could just sleep away .. peacefully. Life is full of ups and down. Mathematically, some months Allah did n't test you with shortage of money and sometimes .. Allah tested you so many gains ..bonus from BN government 1.5 month bonus. if a teacher earns RM4000 a month, so his bonus is RM6000 by february 2013. But alas ... syaitan has played many tricks .. by putting him ideas to invest his bonus into many kind of schemes. Before he got RM6000 this Feb 2013, suddenly he suffered sudden lost. All his investments went up the air. in short, he was cheated of buying a piece of land in the middle of an ocean .. no body knows where the land is!.
This act always happen in Bachok and Tumpat. The land suffer soil erosion. So mathematically, we are again being foolish. A pence gain , but a pound foolish!
Laugh.
Penat dah ni. Too tired already. Msut take PERMATHON .. but where that bottle? oh .. i took the last pill last week aready. want power tonight? The answer is mathematically u must drive to teh nearest pharmacist .. now the pills are getting more expensive. Last year a bottle of pharmaton was rm78 now it is already rm98. See? the gaji went up 10% more from 2012 to 2013 data , but the power pills went up its price by more than 10%. See the logic! the chinese are getting more money after we got the pay hike. Rubbishing away our short lived gaji!

Insyallah I write again .. maths III . Please forgive me .. my readers? I don't mean to teach you anything ..but as a teacher I always write and speak with my pupils in my mind 25/8 all the time.

When we were born, the first thing we heard were a string of azan that consists of 7 - 8 lines that magnify the existence of God called Allah who has created the seven earths and the seven skies and .. the most significant part is Allah created them apart without any kinds of pillar(s).
To obey Allah and to follow the life style of the Holy Prophet pbuh .. will lead us to eternal success.
During our short life in this world, we are expose to the
1) watch that has 12 numbers from 1 o'clock to 12 o'clock Every second that ticks .. really counts for the betterment of our lives in this dunia and akhirat. But to guide us .. Allah swear in the Holy Quran surah Wal Asri - Verily all men are at loss! except those who have the faith in islam, do good deeds and prevent people from ill doings .. and be patient in this effort of dakwah (propagation).
2) during our short live , we are warned of 6 things (see the mathematics ..you start counting with your fingers )
2.1 who is your LORD?
2.2 who is your Prophet?
2.3 which kitab is your reference? Al Quraan
2.4 how you spend your youth 15 - 40 years age
2.5 how you get your earnings ? is it halal or haram?
2.6 how do you act upon your knowledge etc etc
3) If we take care of our life based on the 6 things above insyallah .. as a mathematician we can go to the heaven as quickly as possible.
the problem is .. why are muslims lagging behind in many walks of our live?
the answer is :
1) we didn't obey Allah , Prophet Muhammad to the minutest detail
We obeyed 1%, 75% we went against all the commandments and the rest we are led astray by musics, FB, banking, business dealings etc etc including sports like soccer, Brazil and Red Warriors Kelate aku itu
We forgot a lot about our mathematics because we are tooo occupied with :
1) finding jobs, money, pleasure ..without any endings for ever until we die on the road side - accident/ choke because of fish bones etc etc, got drugs
2) we take MONEY as our LORD. we do things according to what money tell us to do/ the parents left their small children because of the demand of money etc etc. We talk ill of our siblings, relatives and friends because we think ..we are the best/ we don't need them any more. We take friends more importantly than our relatives ... we watch films all day and all night long regardless of Eid Mubarak (Aidil Fitri/ Aidil Adha)..
we worship film stars like Shahrokh Khan, Salman Khan, Rajesh Khanna , Sidney Poiter, Whitney Houston .. and we lost .. and drown badly in music, lacking sleeep , etc etc .. that lead us to early death.
3) we belittling what Islam taught us all this while. In the Quraan , Allah said .. I created day light for you to work all along the day .. but alas you took night as day and the day as night. Yu slept all along the day , and you wake up all the night away. As a result , your body suffer. One day .. you could not differentiate it is a straight road or a river in front of you. Why? becuase you lack sleep.
4) When we lack sleep , we forgot so many mathematical steps towards better solutions etc etc. Mathematical formulae we also forgot. Debit credit never meet. We are drowned in debts, bad debts and .. the book of balance (CREDIT, DEBIT) never meet. See? we met Ah Long and this Ah Long has killed us so young .

to conclude, remember our maths young man/ lady.
let us come back to a simple life. if we earn RM100 a day , let us spend lesss than that daily. God Willing , we are going to save our skin from the eternal miseries. if we owe the banks , we cannot sleep so soundly; except the Malaysian Government .. who say RM500 billion debt at present .. it is going to be ok for us .. I think we forgot our maths really .. so badly there.

Mengikut pengamatan saya sebagai staf akademik sekolah, politeknik dan universiti IPTA .. pelajar melayu @ muslim politeknik dan universiti di Tanah Air selalu sangat bercuti.
Time orang cina beraya pun dia cuti/
Time orang India beraya pun dia cuti/
apa tah lagi Time bila Raya Puasa dan Raya Haji .. ramai dari mereka pulang bercuti.
2) Saya rasa banyak masa mereka rugi terutama:
2.1 kuliah banyak lagi berjalan seperti biasa .. walaupun mereka sudah pulang ke kampung 2 -3 hari lebih awal dari sepatutnya
2.2 ada sebilangan besar dari mereka akan pulang ke kampus .. agak lewat sedikit dari orang lain.

3) Saya rasa ..bila kita dah lama beraya Puasa .. tak payah balik kampung lah ..
bukan ada apa sangat / setakat mak ayah , atuk nenek kita jer yang menjalankan amalan berkurban lembu, kerbau, kambing dan unta (di Masjid Telipot, Kota Bharu)
4) Baik kita gunakan sebanyak mungkin masa .. mentelaah pelajaran / memahirkan diri dalam komputer programming, software, applications dan package/
sebenarnya .. bila belajar di peringkat ttinggi tinggi ini , ia adalahh se umpama KELUAR BERJIHAD FI SABILILLAH .. menunutut ilmu yg diwajibkan oleh agama.
5) Bila ramai sangat pelajar pulang ke kampung .. ada yang membonceng motosikal , naik kereta kawan-kawan .. ada berita kecelakaan jalan raya sana dan sini.
Otak kita tak fokus sangat ..bila asyik nak balik ke kampung sahaja ..
Dulu sibuk nak datang ke universiti/ sekarang sibuk nak balik ke kampung halaman sendiri.
6) Kerajaan kita pun satu hal jugak / kita boleh .. buat jadual yang baik dan kemas // jangan beri students pulang bercuti raya sangat sangat ni/ membazir wang, teanaga, susah payah seluruh dunia beli tiket bas dan beli tiket kereta api / AIR ASIA / sekali jadi/ sekali lagi tak jadi/
ramai orang tua .. tercabut tangan, jari jemari berebut beli tiket kat kounter tiket bas di seluruh terminal bas, kereta api seluruhnegara - untuk melayan kerenah anak anak mereka belajar di UNIVERSITI ini.

kalau tak balik beraya pun / jika rumah orang tua nya berjenis kayu dan reput .. kalau kita balik pun .. rumah itu sentiasa berkayu dan berreput jugak.
kalau tak balik beraya pun/ jika mak dan ayah dah tidak ada gigi bila tersenyum // besar kemungkinan musim beraya dengan mereka pun // gigi mereka tetap MISSING in ACTION

Jika tak balik raya , mungkin .. setakat air mata anak anak dan ibu bapa ..menanggung rindu ..itu jer ..tetapi saya yakin ..pointer anda akan lebih cemerlang lagi dari semester ke semester yang lain.

Students yang belajar kat luar negara tak balik balik pun berhari raya ..tak kira raya puasa, haji, Kong Hee Fak Choi, Deepavali atau Krismas , bertahun-tahun lama nya .. oleh yang demikian ilmu dunia dan akhirat mereka lebih mantap dan terus bergaya ...
FOKUS mereka lebih ke hadapan dan fikir mereka dalam dakwah dan usaha agama lebih maju ke-hadapan/
Lain lah .. dengan some students dalam negara// after 4 tahun .. fikrah mereka tentang islam ..masih ditakuk lama .. setakat tahu sembahyang 5 waktu sahaja secara bersendirian; sembahyang tarawikh 8 rakaat sahaja .. sedangkan mereka tak membelri masa secukupnya sewaktu mereka masih bergelar "STUDENTS IPTA/IPTS" untuk mempelajari skill berdakwah, masak memasak makanan halal untuk diri sendiri dan prepare makanan untuk group melebihi 10 orang serentak .. dengan orang orang luar negara sewaktu menaiki pesawat dan lain-lain lagi. FIKRAH mereka ialah .... mu kelek bilo wen? asyik tanyo mu tok kelek kelate ko Jali? wak gapo kelik acak acak nyor? (laugh)
Berilah sedikit masa saudara/ saudari sekalian .. memikirkan ..apa yang saya sarankan di sini. Mereka yang lemah MUET
saya yakin .. mereka tak ada masa nakbelajar MUET dgn mak ayah yang sibuk mengasah parang nak sembelih lembu pada hari JUmaat dan Sabtu ini.
Klau kita tak balik pun raya sana dan sini kita tak akan MATI .. everything is running as it is with or without us.. PLease think about it? Belajar rindu rindu dengan orang orang tersayang ini cukup bagus tau.
