Salam.
Usually I go to the post offices around this town for some business. Sometime Icome home happy but at times I am very sick with the services.
2) What make me sick is - surprsingly few of the officers need to undergo some training on how to interact with the customers. It is very bad if they do not give any smile to start with and good talking when we ask them to help us. They did not give us any alternative(s) how to go with our problem. May be they think their jobs are theirs to keep for ever and ever. Thats the problem with our people doing business at our own kampung (village).
Take this example at big hypermarket abroad.
The first thing is they smile at you and start asking. What can i do for you young gentleman?
Oh yes we have... that some where ( they will show the way where the stocks are )
Mean while when they are walking with us along the floor .. they will keep on asking .. what is that for? This provides us alternatives .. and they give us ideas how to go about it for the rest of our shopping.
3) Here .. at this kampung .. village.. their faces are a bit long. Perhaps they say indirectly , dont worry , this place is going to get better and bigger for us to sit and serve .. no matter what may come .. with business growing or dying .. They seem not to enjoy talking with the customers too. Everything is so dead and boring. I just wonder why the owner .. keep having them as their promoters when .. they are in fact killing many business opportunity.
Oh..what a bad day I have today. Imagine .. the door if full of notices saying that .. we don't sell this and that .. not today .. so as a foreigner .. I just wonder.. what is business after all?
