That way ok ker gitu kah caranya PHP jer

Salam

Pelik jugalah. Bukankah mereka belajar programming languages macam-macam di peringkat degree ini seperti C++, Java , Object-oriented programming etc etc.

Isu terbesarlah ...mengapa PHP?

So apa sudah jadi universiti malaysia?

Apa kata saudara/saudari pembaca?

He..he.. pembaca-pembaca jawab lah. Saya sudi sangat mendengar.

Sekian. wasallam. Wallahu aklam.

    Salam sejahtera, Prof. Dr. Sazali.

I am one of your student during my first year at UTHM year 2008. You were teaching us Discreet Mathematics if I'm not mistaken. You teaches us some other subjects too but I forgotten what subject, included PSM. Now I’m officially graduated attending convocation 2 days ago.

FYI, I came to UTHM with zero knowledge of programming because I came in after STPM for Bac.Degree. Although we've learned many programming languages taught by several lecturers in UTHM, such as C++(2008), OOP(2009), JAVA(end of 2010), C#(as I joined MDEC at year 2010), we don't really excel in all these programming languages because all these we just 'touch and go' each semester, and learn new programming language the next coming semester.

My final year project was done using PHP, where I don't learn it in university because lecturer didn't teach us PHP. So, can we consider that it is something fresh and new for me to explore and implement it in my PSM? Kita memang cuba something new because PHP is indeed something new for us.

Even PHP is too odd and old programming but I never learn it before. Use PHP in my PSM is because we have senior to guide us and refer to, and our PSM supervisor may help us too if we encounters problems because my PSM supervisor are more expert in PHP. You are right that we wasted the chance to explore latest programming skill like JAVA and Visual Basic but it is way safer because we don’t want to risk our project or failed it. Even I used PHP but it is quite a challenge for me too. We went through many sleepless nights to develop our PSM system.

Therefore I'm proud myself when I managed to build up a useful system even it is just PHP but the feeling is like I built it using JAVA, Visual Basic or whatsoever.

    Sekian.

By the way I’m happy to found your blog and read it.;)

Baguslah anda membaca blog saya. You are right. Why take risk? if u r good in php .. go for it ..yg penting .. u dah graduate// tetapi i got my point too.
Sepatutnya u critic fakulti / why students not so good at programming java, visual basic and c++. Why oh why? by criticising we can get better lecturers from the swasta side. He..he..

    Salam sejahtera,

We do have several good programming lecturers in UTHM but not much. Good idea to import better lecturers from swasta side but anyway both lecturers and students shall enchance their programming skill.
